The Rising Five: Edition #8: The Rising Five…Goes Live!

I’m back with another special edition of The Rising Five where we promote five bands that you need to listen to RIGHT NOW! We’ve got some familiar faces for the new edition of The Rising Five and the great thing about this Rising Five is that you get an opportunity to listen to how these bands sound live. I guarantee the five bands you’ll be seeing will be worth your hard earned dinero.

1. Daybreak Embrace-Tomorrow Awaits – South Floridian five-piece is one of the best live unsigned bands you’ll find anywhere. For only being together for three years, they are extremely comfortable and tight. Definitely a band to check out live if you ever get a chance.

2. Traverser-Burn In – Not going very far north is the central Florida band that plays a high quality cerebral brand of rock. Everything with Traverser is big, from the compositions themselves to the sound. Definitely a band I would go to see live.

3. Dead Fish Handshake-Undercurrent – For an unsigned band to play so well acoustically is not extremely common. It makes this band from Jersey all the more interesting. They’ve been working on new music with Sevendust/Call Me No One member Clint Lowery.

4. Seven Circle Sunrise-Another Day – The three-piece band from small-town Ohio has taken big steps opening for everyone from Red Jumpsuit Apparatus to Incubus. It gives you an idea of how popular they are and how much potential they have to be in their positions one day.

5. Red Seas Fire-Turbulence – A wink and a nod to EMURGmetal…who says you need an audience or even words to express your badassness. If you dig Animals as Leaders or even Periphery from an instrumental perspective, there’s no reason why you can’t get into Red Seas Fire.

Who knows what will become of The Rising Five the next time. I may have a theme, I may not have a theme, but one thing you’re going to know is that we are going to give you the best rock and metal music around.
